### sec.1006 Declarations about watercourses
A regulation or a water plan may declare water in an aquifer under a watercourse, or under land adjacent to a watercourse, to be water in the watercourse.
If subsection (1) applies, a regulation or a water plan may also state the way in which water, taken for stock or domestic purposes, is regulated.
Water declared to be in a watercourse is not underground water.
