### sec.99ZE Meaning of material recovery facility A material recovery facility is a facility or other place— at which recyclable waste is sorted and prepared for recycling, whether or not the waste is also recycled at the facility or place; or of another type prescribed by regulation as a material recovery facility. However, a material recovery facility does not include a facility or other place prescribed by regulation to not be a material recovery facility. s 99ZE ins 2017 No. 31 s 4 (sec.99ZE-ssec.1) A material recovery facility is a facility or other place— at which recyclable waste is sorted and prepared for recycling, whether or not the waste is also recycled at the facility or place; or of another type prescribed by regulation as a material recovery facility. (sec.99ZE-ssec.2) However, a material recovery facility does not include a facility or other place prescribed by regulation to not be a material recovery facility. - (a) at which recyclable waste is sorted and prepared for recycling, whether or not the waste is also recycled at the facility or place; or - (b) of another type prescribed by regulation as a material recovery facility.
