### sec.73A Obligations of entity responsible for operation of resource recovery area This section applies if the operator of a waste disposal site has declared, or claims to have declared, an area as a resource recovery area under section 72S . The entity having responsibility for the operation of the resource recovery area must ensure— there is not an active landfill cell within the area; and the area complies with the requirements for the area prescribed by regulation; and the physical barrier between the resource recovery area and the rest of the waste disposal site complies with the requirements prescribed by regulation; and the points of access allowing vehicles to move between the area and the rest of the waste disposal site comply with the requirements prescribed by regulation.
