### sec.300 Existing strategic plans under repealed waste management policy
For 1 year after the commencement of this section, part 7 , division 1 of the repealed waste management policy, and any waste management strategic plan in force for a local government area under the repealed policy, continues to have effect as if this Act had not been enacted.
Subsection (1) has effect in a local government area other than in relation to any aspect of waste management in the local government area that is the subject of a waste reduction and recycling plan that comes into force under this Act.
For 1 year after the commencement of this section, part 7 , division 2 of the repealed waste management policy, and any strategic plan for managing a department’s waste in force for a department under the repealed policy, continues to have effect as if this Act had not been enacted.
Subsection (3) has effect for a department other than in relation to any aspect of waste management for the department that is the subject of a waste reduction and recycling plan that comes into force under this Act.
