### sec.293 Procedure for cancelling grant of transition period exempt waste application This section applies if the chief executive proposes to cancel the grant of a transition period exempt residue waste application. The chief executive must give notice to the holder of the grant. The notice must state the following— that the chief executive proposes to cancel the grant of the application; the grounds for the proposed cancellation; the facts and circumstances that form the basis for the grounds; when the proposed cancellation is intended to take effect; that the holder may make, within a stated period, written submissions to show why the proposed cancellation should not be taken. The stated period must end at least 15 business days after the holder is given the notice. The chief executive must consider any submissions made under subsection (3) (e) within the stated period. If the chief executive decides to cancel the grant of the application, the chief executive must, within 10 business days after making the decision give the holder of the grant an information notice for the decision. The decision takes effect when the information notice is given. (sec.293-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive proposes to cancel the grant of a transition period exempt residue waste application.
