### sec.283 Cancellation of grant
This section applies if the chief executive has granted a residue waste discounting application.
The chief executive may cancel the grant of the application if the chief executive considers there are reasonable grounds to cancel it.
Without limiting subsection (2) , grounds may include—
that there is a reasonable suspicion that the application was granted because of a false or misleading representation or declaration; or
that the circumstances that were relevant to the granting of the application have changed; or
that the conditions included in the granting of the application have not been complied with; or
that it is desirable to cancel the grant having regard to the objects of this Act.
(sec.283-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive has granted a residue waste discounting application.

- (b) that the circumstances that were relevant to the granting of the application have changed; or
- (c) that the conditions included in the granting of the application have not been complied with; or
- (d) that it is desirable to cancel the grant having regard to the objects of this Act.
