### sec.279 Chief executive may require additional information
The chief executive may, by notice given to the applicant within 10 business days after receiving the application, require the applicant under a residue waste discounting application to give the chief executive further reasonable information or documents about the application by a reasonable date stated in the notice.
The chief executive may refuse the application if the applicant does not give the chief executive the further information or documents by the stated date, or a later date agreed between the chief executive and the applicant, without reasonable excuse.
The applicant may, before the stated date, agree with the chief executive about extending the time for providing the further information.
