### sec.248 Giving compliance notice If the chief executive reasonably believes a person has contravened, or is contravening, a prescribed provision, the chief executive may give a notice (a compliance notice ) to the person requiring the person to do either or both of the following— to refrain from contravening the prescribed provision; to remedy the contravention in the way stated in the notice. The compliance notice must include or be accompanied by an information notice for the decision to give the person a compliance notice. (sec.248-ssec.1) If the chief executive reasonably believes a person has contravened, or is contravening, a prescribed provision, the chief executive may give a notice (a compliance notice ) to the person requiring the person to do either or both of the following— to refrain from contravening the prescribed provision; to remedy the contravention in the way stated in the notice.
