### sec.15 What may be included in State’s waste management strategy
The State’s waste management strategy may provide for anything affecting, or that may affect or be affected by, the management of waste.
Without limiting subsection (1) , the strategy may provide for the following matters—
a circular economy;
waste avoidance and reduction;
product design;
consumption;
reuse or repair of products and materials;
resource efficiency;
product stewardship;
resource recovery;
recycling, including, for example, standards, criteria and specifications for recycled materials and products containing recycled materials;
priority products or priority waste;
strategic waste management and resource recovery planning;
data collection and reporting.

(sec.15-ssec.1) The State’s waste management strategy may provide for anything affecting, or that may affect or be affected by, the management of waste.
(sec.15-ssec.2) Without limiting subsection (1) , the strategy may provide for the following matters— a circular economy; waste avoidance and reduction; product design; consumption; reuse or repair of products and materials; resource efficiency; product stewardship; resource recovery; recycling, including, for example, standards, criteria and specifications for recycled materials and products containing recycled materials; priority products or priority waste; strategic waste management and resource recovery planning; data collection and reporting.
- (a) a circular economy;
- (b) waste avoidance and reduction;
- (c) product design;
- (d) consumption;
- (e) reuse or repair of products and materials;
- (f) resource efficiency;
- (g) product stewardship;
- (h) resource recovery;
- (i) recycling, including, for example, standards, criteria and specifications for recycled materials and products containing recycled materials;
- (j) priority products or priority waste;
- (k) strategic waste management and resource recovery planning;
- (l) data collection and reporting.
