### sec.19E Request for declaration
The owner of land (the proponent ) may, by written notice given to the chief executive, ask the chief executive to declare that a stated area of the land is—
an area of high nature conservation value; or
an area vulnerable to land degradation.
The notice must be accompanied by a management plan for the stated area.
The management plan must—
be signed by the proponent; and
include enough information to allow the chief executive to map the boundary of the stated area; and
state the proponent’s management intent, and management outcomes proposed by the proponent, for the conservation of the high nature conservation value of the area or the prevention of land degradation in the area; and
state the activities the proponent intends to carry out, or refrain from carrying out, to achieve the management outcomes mentioned in paragraph (c) ; and
state the restrictions, if any, to be imposed on the use of, or access to, the area by other persons to achieve the management outcomes mentioned in paragraph (c) .
Subsection (3) does not limit the matters the management plan may contain.

(sec.19E-ssec.2) The notice must be accompanied by a management plan for the stated area.
(sec.19E-ssec.3) The management plan must— be signed by the proponent; and include enough information to allow the chief executive to map the boundary of the stated area; and state the proponent’s management intent, and management outcomes proposed by the proponent, for the conservation of the high nature conservation value of the area or the prevention of land degradation in the area; and state the activities the proponent intends to carry out, or refrain from carrying out, to achieve the management outcomes mentioned in paragraph (c) ; and state the restrictions, if any, to be imposed on the use of, or access to, the area by other persons to achieve the management outcomes mentioned in paragraph (c) .
(sec.19E-ssec.4) Subsection (3) does not limit the matters the management plan may contain.
- (a) an area of high nature conservation value; or
- (b) an area vulnerable to land degradation.
- (a) be signed by the proponent; and
- (b) include enough information to allow the chief executive to map the boundary of the stated area; and
- (c) state the proponent’s management intent, and management outcomes proposed by the proponent, for the conservation of the high nature conservation value of the area or the prevention of land degradation in the area; and
- (d) state the activities the proponent intends to carry out, or refrain from carrying out, to achieve the management outcomes mentioned in paragraph (c) ; and
- (e) state the restrictions, if any, to be imposed on the use of, or access to, the area by other persons to achieve the management outcomes mentioned in paragraph (c) .
