### sec.56D Requirement to disclose particular matters This section applies if a person who is a member— is disqualified from managing corporations under the Corporations Act , part 2D .6; or is convicted of an indictable offence mentioned in section 24 (1) (i) or 35C (1) (b) . The person must, unless the person has a reasonable excuse, immediately give notice of the disqualification or conviction to— if the person is the chancellor when disqualified or convicted—the vice-chancellor; or if the person is an appointed member when disqualified or convicted—the Minister; or otherwise—the chancellor. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. The notice must include the following information— if the notice is of the person’s disqualification— the existence of the disqualification; and when the disqualification took effect; and sufficient details to identify the grounds for the disqualification; if the notice is of the person’s conviction— the existence of the conviction; and when the offence was committed; and sufficient details to identify the offence; and the sentence imposed on the person.
