### sec.99 Proceedings by and against prisoners
This rule applies if a prisoner is incapable of bringing or defending a proceeding without the public trustee’s consent.
See the Public Trustee Act 1978 , section 95 (Restrictions on property dealings or proceedings).
The public trustee’s consent must be written on the front, or attached on a separate sheet at the back, of the originating process or notice of intention to defend.
