### sec.989 Solicitor struck off or suspended
This rule applies if a solicitor is struck off, removed from the roll of solicitors or suspended from practice.
If a receiver of the solicitor’s practice is appointed by the Queensland Law Society Incorporated, a copy of all processes and documents to be served in a proceeding in which the solicitor is a solicitor on the record must be served on the receiver.
If a receiver is not appointed, rule 992 applies with necessary changes.
(sec.989-ssec.1) This rule applies if a solicitor is struck off, removed from the roll of solicitors or suspended from practice.
(sec.989-ssec.2) If a receiver of the solicitor’s practice is appointed by the Queensland Law Society Incorporated, a copy of all processes and documents to be served in a proceeding in which the solicitor is a solicitor on the record must be served on the receiver.
