### sec.983 Admiralty
The registrar of the Supreme Court may perform the functions and exercise the powers of the registrar under the Admiralty Rules 1988 (Cwlth) .
The marshal, deputy marshal or assistant marshal of the Supreme Court may perform the functions and exercise the powers of the marshal under the Admiralty Rules 1988 (Cwlth) .
If the marshal can not conveniently execute a warrant or instrument in person because of distance or for another sufficient reason, the marshal may employ an appropriate person as the marshal’s officer to execute it and the person is authorised to execute it as marshal.
