### sec.938 Service of warrant and claim
A person who enforces a warrant for the arrest of a defendant must, as soon as practicable after enforcing it, serve the defendant with—
a copy or a facsimile copy of the warrant; and
if the defendant has not been served with the claim for which the warrant was issued, a sealed copy or facsimile copy of the claim.
If a facsimile copy of the claim is served under subrule (1) (b) , the plaintiff must serve the defendant with a sealed copy of the originating process as soon as practicable after the defendant’s arrest.
(sec.938-ssec.1) A person who enforces a warrant for the arrest of a defendant must, as soon as practicable after enforcing it, serve the defendant with— a copy or a facsimile copy of the warrant; and if the defendant has not been served with the claim for which the warrant was issued, a sealed copy or facsimile copy of the claim.
(sec.938-ssec.2) If a facsimile copy of the claim is served under subrule (1) (b) , the plaintiff must serve the defendant with a sealed copy of the originating process as soon as practicable after the defendant’s arrest.
