### sec.842 When debt redirected under enforcement warrant
An enforcement warrant authorising redirection of a debt belonging to an enforcement debtor from a third person must be served on the third person to have effect.
When the third person is served with the warrant, the debt is redirected in the hands of the third person to the enforcement creditor to the extent of the amount specified in the warrant.
This rule does not apply to a regular redirection under division 2 of a regular debt belonging to an enforcement debtor from a financial institution.
(sec.842-ssec.1) An enforcement warrant authorising redirection of a debt belonging to an enforcement debtor from a third person must be served on the third person to have effect.
