### sec.743D Notice of application
Within 7 days after filing an application for a costs assessment, the applicant must serve a copy of the application on any person to whom notice must be given under the Legal Profession Act 2007 , section 339 (1) .
If a person served under subrule (1) knows a third party payer should have been, but was not, served, the person must, within 14 days after being served, give the applicant written notice of that fact and the name and contact details for the third party payer.
As soon as practicable, but no more than 14 days after receiving a notice under subrule (2) , the applicant must serve a copy of the application on the third party payer.
