### sec.598 General notice of intention to apply for grant
A person, other than the public trustee, proposing to apply for a grant must, at least 14 days before filing the application, give notice in the approved form of intention to apply for a grant.
At least 7 days before filing the application, the person must also give to the public trustee a copy of the notice.
The copy may be given by post or fax.
If the court considers urgent circumstances exist that justify making a grant without giving notice under subrule (1) , the court may dispense with compliance with the subrule.
