### sec.468 Trial expedited The court may expedite the trial of a proceeding. To expedite the trial of a proceeding, the court may do all or any of the following— order the proceeding to be given priority in the allocation of a trial date, including by certifying for speedy trial; make an order about any of the following— setting a trial date; subject to these rules, specifying the mode of trial; give a direction the court could give under chapter 10 , part 1 .
