### sec.440 Scandal and oppression If there is scandalous or oppressive matter in an affidavit, the court may order that— the affidavit be removed from the file; or the affidavit be removed from the file and destroyed; or the scandalous or oppressive matter in the affidavit be struck out. - (a) the affidavit be removed from the file; or - (b) the affidavit be removed from the file and destroyed; or - (c) the scandalous or oppressive matter in the affidavit be struck out.
