### sec.429R Appointment of expert
The court may, at any time, whether on its own initiative or on the application of a party to a proceeding, appoint an expert (a court-appointed expert ) to prepare a report on an issue arising in the proceeding.
However, an appointment may be made under subrule (1) only if the expert has been made aware of the content of this part and consents to the appointment.
