### sec.396 Order for examination
The court may, for obtaining evidence for use in a proceeding, order the examination on oath of a person before a judge, magistrate or another person appointed by the court as an examiner at a place inside or outside Queensland (an examination order ).
However, the court may not order the examination of a person before a judge of a higher court.
