### sec.279 Certificate of result of sale
If the court directs, or if the court has directed the payment of the purchase money into court, the result of a sale by order of the court must be certified—
for a public auction—by the auctioneer who conducted the sale; or
otherwise—by the party or person who conducted the sale or by the solicitor who acted for the party.
Within 7 days after the day of settlement of the sale, the person required to give the certificate under subrule (1) must file the certificate in the court.
(sec.279-ssec.1) If the court directs, or if the court has directed the payment of the purchase money into court, the result of a sale by order of the court must be certified— for a public auction—by the auctioneer who conducted the sale; or otherwise—by the party or person who conducted the sale or by the solicitor who acted for the party.
(sec.279-ssec.2) Within 7 days after the day of settlement of the sale, the person required to give the certificate under subrule (1) must file the certificate in the court.
- (a) for a public auction—by the auctioneer who conducted the sale; or
- (b) otherwise—by the party or person who conducted the sale or by the solicitor who acted for the party.
