### sec.209 Application of part
This part applies to the following types of proceeding—
a proceeding started by claim;
a proceeding in which the court has made an order under rule 14 ordering the proceeding to continue as if started by claim;
if the court directs—a proceeding started by application.
This part applies to all parties, including a party who is a young person and a litigation guardian of a young person.
This part does not affect—
the right of a party to inspect a document if the party has a common interest in the document with the party who has possession or control of the document; or
another right of access to the document other than under this part.
