### sec.108 Personal service—young people
A document required to be served personally on a young person must be served instead on the person who is the young person’s litigation guardian for the proceeding to which the document relates.
If the young person does not have a litigation guardian for the proceeding the document must be served instead on—
the young person’s parent or guardian; or
if there is no parent or guardian—an adult who has the care of the young person or with whom the young person lives.
(sec.108-ssec.1) A document required to be served personally on a young person must be served instead on the person who is the young person’s litigation guardian for the proceeding to which the document relates.
(sec.108-ssec.2) If the young person does not have a litigation guardian for the proceeding the document must be served instead on— the young person’s parent or guardian; or if there is no parent or guardian—an adult who has the care of the young person or with whom the young person lives.
- (a) the young person’s parent or guardian; or
- (b) if there is no parent or guardian—an adult who has the care of the young person or with whom the young person lives.
