### sch.1A-sec.6.1 Appointment of provisional liquidator ( Corporations Act , s 472 )—form 8
An application for a registered liquidator to be appointed under the Corporations Act , section 472 (2) as a provisional liquidator of a company must be accompanied by the written consent of the registered liquidator.
The consent must be in form 8.
Subrule (4) applies if—
an order is made appointing a provisional liquidator; and
the order provides that the provisional liquidator may take into the provisional liquidator’s custody part only of the property of the company.
The order must include a short description of the part of the property of the company that the provisional liquidator may take into custody.
