### sec.4AA Meaning of trustee
A trustee is an entity, other than a contributor, that is a party to a funeral benefit agreement entered into on or after 1 December 2003.
However, the following are not trustees —
an authorised deposit-taking institution under the Banking Act 1959 (Cwlth) ;
a company registered under the Life Insurance Act 1995 (Cwlth) .

(sec.4AA-ssec.1) A trustee is an entity, other than a contributor, that is a party to a funeral benefit agreement entered into on or after 1 December 2003.
(sec.4AA-ssec.2) However, the following are not trustees — an authorised deposit-taking institution under the Banking Act 1959 (Cwlth) ; a company registered under the Life Insurance Act 1995 (Cwlth) .
- (a) an authorised deposit-taking institution under the Banking Act 1959 (Cwlth) ;
- (b) a company registered under the Life Insurance Act 1995 (Cwlth) .
