### sec.44 Existing road works on local government roads
This section applies if road works to which section 8C of the pre-amended Act applied had started to be carried out but were not finished before the commencement.
The pre-amended Act continues to apply in relation to the road works as if the Transport and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2017 had not been enacted.

(sec.44-ssec.1) This section applies if road works to which section 8C of the pre-amended Act applied had started to be carried out but were not finished before the commencement.
