### sec.36G Smartcard transport authority The chief executive may issue to a person a smartcard ( smartcard transport authority ) evidencing 1 or more transport authorities held by the person and containing information about the authorities. A regulation may provide for the following— information that may be included on the smartcard; a PIN to be used by the holder of the smartcard as a security measure to protect information stored electronically on it; verification of a person’s connection to the person’s most recent digital photo relating to a smartcard transport authority.
