### sec.29AB Definitions for part
In this part—
authority includes an approval, authorisation, card, certificate, licence, permit, receipt and qualification.
corresponding authority means an authority issued under a corresponding law prescribed by regulation to be a corresponding authority.
corresponding law means a law, of another State or the Commonwealth, that provides for the same, or substantially the same, matters as a relevant Act.
digital authority see section 29AC .
digital device means a device that can be used to display or store information electronically.
computer, smart phone, tablet computer
digital evidence of age see section 29AD .
digital evidence of identity see section 29AE .
issue includes approve, extend, grant and renew.
recognised country means a country or other jurisdiction—
approved by the chief executive; and
stated in a notice published on the whole-of-government website to be a recognised country or jurisdiction.

recognised country authority means an authority that—
is issued under a law of a recognised country; and
complies with the standard prescribed by regulation.

relevant Act means an Act prescribed by regulation to be a relevant Act.

relevant authority means—
an authority issued under a relevant Act prescribed by a regulation as a relevant authority; or
a corresponding authority prescribed by regulation to be a relevant authority; or
a recognised country authority.

whole-of-government website means—
www.qld.gov.au; or
another website prescribed by regulation.

- (a) approved by the chief executive; and
- (b) stated in a notice published on the whole-of-government website to be a recognised country or jurisdiction.
