### sec.28EK Disclosure of information about prescribed authorities
For a purpose related to the operation of the document verification service, the chief executive may disclose, in writing or electronically, information kept by the chief executive under an Act about a person’s prescribed authority to an entity that, under an agreement between the State and other Australian jurisdictions, maintains a database containing information about identity documents.
Before disclosing information under subsection (1) , the chief executive must be satisfied any disclosure of the information by the entity will be only for the operation of the document verification service.

(sec.28EK-ssec.1) For a purpose related to the operation of the document verification service, the chief executive may disclose, in writing or electronically, information kept by the chief executive under an Act about a person’s prescribed authority to an entity that, under an agreement between the State and other Australian jurisdictions, maintains a database containing information about identity documents.
(sec.28EK-ssec.2) Before disclosing information under subsection (1) , the chief executive must be satisfied any disclosure of the information by the entity will be only for the operation of the document verification service.
