### sec.91T Suspending and cancelling licence
A regulation may provide for suspending and cancelling a licence.
Without limiting subsection (1) , a regulation may authorise the chief executive to—
suspend or cancel a person’s licence if the person contravenes—
a condition of the licence; or
a provision of relevant transport legislation relating to providing a taxi service or booked hire service or a motor vehicle used to provide a taxi service or booked hire service; or
immediately suspend a person’s licence if—
the vehicle is required to comply with the vehicle requirements prescribed under section 91R (1) and the vehicle does not comply with the requirements; or
the chief executive considers it necessary in the public interest.

(sec.91T-ssec.1) A regulation may provide for suspending and cancelling a licence.
(sec.91T-ssec.2) Without limiting subsection (1) , a regulation may authorise the chief executive to— suspend or cancel a person’s licence if the person contravenes— a condition of the licence; or a provision of relevant transport legislation relating to providing a taxi service or booked hire service or a motor vehicle used to provide a taxi service or booked hire service; or immediately suspend a person’s licence if— the vehicle is required to comply with the vehicle requirements prescribed under section 91R (1) and the vehicle does not comply with the requirements; or the chief executive considers it necessary in the public interest.
- (a) suspend or cancel a person’s licence if the person contravenes— (i) a condition of the licence; or (ii) a provision of relevant transport legislation relating to providing a taxi service or booked hire service or a motor vehicle used to provide a taxi service or booked hire service; or
- (i) a condition of the licence; or
- (ii) a provision of relevant transport legislation relating to providing a taxi service or booked hire service or a motor vehicle used to provide a taxi service or booked hire service; or
- (b) immediately suspend a person’s licence if— (i) the vehicle is required to comply with the vehicle requirements prescribed under section 91R (1) and the vehicle does not comply with the requirements; or (ii) the chief executive considers it necessary in the public interest.
- (i) the vehicle is required to comply with the vehicle requirements prescribed under section 91R (1) and the vehicle does not comply with the requirements; or
- (ii) the chief executive considers it necessary in the public interest.
- (i) a condition of the licence; or
- (ii) a provision of relevant transport legislation relating to providing a taxi service or booked hire service or a motor vehicle used to provide a taxi service or booked hire service; or
- (i) the vehicle is required to comply with the vehicle requirements prescribed under section 91R (1) and the vehicle does not comply with the requirements; or
- (ii) the chief executive considers it necessary in the public interest.
