### sec.81 Booking entity’s obligations
A person who provides a booking service for a booked hire service must—
make a booking record for the booked hire service that is legible; and
if the person is not the driver of the motor vehicle to be used to provide the service—before the journey starts, give a copy of the booking record to the driver; and
keep the booking record for at least 2 years after the record is made; and
if asked by an authorised person—produce the booking record for inspection by the authorised person.
Maximum penalty—80 penalty units.
