### sec.67W Failure to comply with duty—category 2
A person commits an offence if—
the person has a safety duty; and
the person contravenes the duty; and
the person’s contravention exposes an individual, or class of individuals, to a risk of death or serious injury or illness.
Maximum penalty—
for an individual—1,500 penalty units; or
for a corporation—15,000 penalty units.
