### sec.62AAE Matters to be considered generally when considering offers for integrated mass transit service contracts
The chief executive—
is not obliged to accept any offer for an integrated mass transit service contract; and
may only accept an offer for an integrated mass transit service contract if the chief executive considers the offer to be acceptable for the contract.
In deciding if an offer for an integrated mass transit service contract is acceptable, the chief executive must have regard to at least the following—
the ability of each offerer to meet the minimum service levels and other standards of performance specified in the invitation to offer;
the cost of providing the general route service;
the need for sustainability and continuity of services;
any matters prescribed under a regulation.
In deciding between 2 or more acceptable offers, the chief executive must select the offer the chief executive considers to be the best having regard to the matters mentioned in subsection (2) (a) to (d) .

(sec.62AAE-ssec.1) The chief executive— is not obliged to accept any offer for an integrated mass transit service contract; and may only accept an offer for an integrated mass transit service contract if the chief executive considers the offer to be acceptable for the contract.

(sec.62AAE-ssec.3) In deciding between 2 or more acceptable offers, the chief executive must select the offer the chief executive considers to be the best having regard to the matters mentioned in subsection (2) (a) to (d) .
- (a) is not obliged to accept any offer for an integrated mass transit service contract; and
- (b) may only accept an offer for an integrated mass transit service contract if the chief executive considers the offer to be acceptable for the contract.
