### sec.48C Term of emergency service contract
An emergency service contract is, despite section 44 (1) , for the term of not more than 2 years decided by the chief executive.
However, if the chief executive has entered into an emergency service contract without inviting offers for the contract, the contract can not be for a term of more than 12 months.
