### sec.153 Prosecutions for railway offences
This section applies to an offence against this Act committed by a person while the person was travelling by rail.
A complaint for the offence may be heard at a place appointed for holding Magistrates Courts within any of the districts through which the person travelled on the rail journey.
This section has effect despite, but does not limit, the Justices Act 1886 , section 139 .
