### sec.133 Authorised person to give notice of damage
An authorised person who, in the exercise, or purported exercise, of a power under this chapter, damages anything must immediately give written notice of the particulars of the damage.
The notice must be given to the person who appears to the authorised person to be the owner of the thing.
If, for any reason, it is not practicable to comply with subsection (2) , the authorised person must—
leave the notice at the place where the damage happened; and
ensure the notice is left in a reasonably secure way and in a conspicuous position.
In this section—
owner of a thing includes the person in possession or control of the thing.
(sec.133-ssec.1) An authorised person who, in the exercise, or purported exercise, of a power under this chapter, damages anything must immediately give written notice of the particulars of the damage.
