### sec.129ZN Hearing of application
If a respondent appears before the court that is to hear and decide an application for a civil banning order, the court may—
hear and decide the application; or
adjourn the application, whether or not it makes an interim civil banning order; or
dismiss the application.
If a respondent fails to appear before the court that is to hear and decide the application for a civil banning order and the court is satisfied that a copy of the application has been served on the respondent, the court may—
proceed to hear and decide the application in the absence of the respondent; or
adjourn the application, whether or not it makes an interim civil banning order; or
dismiss the application.

(sec.129ZN-ssec.1) If a respondent appears before the court that is to hear and decide an application for a civil banning order, the court may— hear and decide the application; or adjourn the application, whether or not it makes an interim civil banning order; or dismiss the application.
