### sec.129A Power to detain person who has committed a detainable offence
This section applies if a transit officer reasonably believes a person on or in public transport infrastructure has committed a detainable offence on or in the public transport infrastructure.
The transit officer may detain the person, using force that is reasonably necessary for the purpose, until the person can be delivered to a police officer.

(sec.129A-ssec.1) This section applies if a transit officer reasonably believes a person on or in public transport infrastructure has committed a detainable offence on or in the public transport infrastructure.
(sec.129A-ssec.2) The transit officer may detain the person, using force that is reasonably necessary for the purpose, until the person can be delivered to a police officer.
