### sec.126I Power to require rail vehicle inspection
If an authorised person reasonably believes a rail vehicle that has been, or is being used, to transport dangerous goods may not comply with the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994 , chapter 14 , the authorised person may require its owner to have it inspected at a stated reasonable time and place.
The requirement must be made by notice in the approved form.
The owner must comply with the requirement, unless the owner has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty for subsection (3) —60 penalty units.
