### sec.126B Tampering with seized things
If an authorised person restricts access to a seized thing, a person must not tamper with the thing, or something restricting access to the thing, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—60 penalty units.
In this section—
tamper includes attempt to tamper.
