### sec.113C Transit officers must continue to have relevant skills and abilities
The chief executive must ensure a person who is appointed as a transit officer continues to have the skills and abilities required for performing functions or exercising powers of transit officers under this part.
For subsection (1) , the chief executive may require a transit officer to undertake transit officer training at any time.
If a person appointed as a transit officer is asked to undertake transit officer training under this subsection and fails to do so, the person’s appointment may be revoked under section 113G .
In deciding whether a transit officer should be required to undertake transit officer training, the chief executive must have regard to the following—
when the transit officer last undertook the training;
whether there have been any developments in the training since the transit officer last undertook the training;
evidence of the transit officer’s past performance in performing functions or exercising powers under this part.

(sec.113C-ssec.1) The chief executive must ensure a person who is appointed as a transit officer continues to have the skills and abilities required for performing functions or exercising powers of transit officers under this part.
(sec.113C-ssec.2) For subsection (1) , the chief executive may require a transit officer to undertake transit officer training at any time.
