### sec.112 Identity cards
The chief executive must issue an identity card to each authorised person.
This section does not apply to an authorised person who is a police officer.
The identity card must—
contain a recent photograph of the authorised person; and
be signed by the authorised person; and
identify the person as—
if the person is a transit officer—an authorised person (transit officer); or
otherwise—an authorised person; and
contain a unique identification number for the authorised person; and
include an expiry date.
A person who ceases to be an authorised person must, as soon as practicable, return the identity card to the chief executive, unless the person has a reasonable excuse for not returning it.
Maximum penalty—30 penalty units.
Nothing in this section prevents the issue of a single identity card to a person for this Act and other Acts.
