### sec.87 Power of Minister to require directions
The Minister may ask the chief executive to require a harbour master to give a direction under this subdivision.
Section 86 does not apply to the giving of the direction by a harbour master.
A request may only be made by the Minister if the Minister is satisfied that exceptional circumstances exist to justify the Minister’s intervention in the public interest.
If the Minister makes a request under this section, the request must be—
notified in the gazette as soon as practicable after it is made; and
tabled in the Legislative Assembly within 14 days after it is given.

(sec.87-ssec.1) The Minister may ask the chief executive to require a harbour master to give a direction under this subdivision.
