### sec.86 General limitation on harbour master’s power to give directions under subdivision
A harbour master may give a direction under this subdivision only if the harbour master reasonably considers it necessary to give the direction to ensure safety.
In giving the direction, the harbour master must have regard to the need to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Queensland maritime industry.

(sec.86-ssec.1) A harbour master may give a direction under this subdivision only if the harbour master reasonably considers it necessary to give the direction to ensure safety.
