### sec.75 Only qualified persons may be appointed as harbour masters The chief executive may appoint a person to be a harbour master only if— in the chief executive’s opinion, the person has the necessary expertise or experience to be a harbour master and shipping inspector; or the person has satisfactorily finished training approved by the chief executive. - (a) in the chief executive’s opinion, the person has the necessary expertise or experience to be a harbour master and shipping inspector; or - (b) the person has satisfactorily finished training approved by the chief executive.
