### sec.203C External review of decisions If a reviewed decision is not the decision sought by the applicant for the review, the chief executive must give the applicant a QCAT information notice for the reviewed decision. The applicant may apply, as provided under the QCAT Act , to QCAT for a review of the reviewed decision. The QCAT Act , section 22 (3) provides that QCAT may stay the operation of the reviewed decision, either on application by a person or on its own initiative. In this section— chief executive means— if the reviewed decision is made by the general manager—the general manager; or if the reviewed decision is made by the Gold Coast Waterways Authority—the Gold Coast Waterways Authority. QCAT information notice means a notice complying with the QCAT Act , section 157 (2) . s 203C ins 2006 No. 21 s 92 sub 2009 No. 24 s 1759 amd 2012 No. 38 s 127 ; 2016 No. 3 s 76 sch 1 (sec.203C-ssec.1) If a reviewed decision is not the decision sought by the applicant for the review, the chief executive must give the applicant a QCAT information notice for the reviewed decision.
