### sec.18 Exemption of person or ship from Act A regulation may exempt a person or ship from this Act or any of its provisions. The exemption may be given on specified conditions. If an exemption is given on conditions, the exemption operates only if the conditions are complied with. (sec.18-ssec.1) A regulation may exempt a person or ship from this Act or any of its provisions. (sec.18-ssec.2) The exemption may be given on specified conditions. (sec.18-ssec.3) If an exemption is given on conditions, the exemption operates only if the conditions are complied with.
