### sec.93B Protection from liability
Civil liability does not attach to a protected person because of anything done or omitted to be done under this division as or for the marine pollution controller in good faith without reckless disregard for the possible occurrence of the personal injury or loss or damage to property from which liability would arise, if this section did not apply.
If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to a protected person, the liability attaches instead to the State.
In this section—
protected person means—
the marine pollution controller; or
a person acting under the direction of the marine pollution controller.

(sec.93B-ssec.2) If subsection (1) prevents a civil liability attaching to a protected person, the liability attaches instead to the State.
(sec.93B-ssec.3) In this section— protected person means— the marine pollution controller; or a person acting under the direction of the marine pollution controller.

- (b) a person acting under the direction of the marine pollution controller.
